Set on a generous campus in Anum in the Eastern Region of Ghana, ANSEC's grounds have expanded steadily since 1897 — shaped by decades of institutional investment, community pride, and the conviction that a school's physical environment matters deeply to the quality of education it provides.

Today the campus encompasses academic blocks, boarding facilities, laboratories, a library, a chapel, sports grounds, and dedicated spaces for the arts — everything a serious senior high school needs, continuously being improved.

The Founding Campus

ANSEC established on its current site in Anum with initial classroom blocks and residential accommodation — a modest but purposeful beginning for what would become one of the Eastern Region's leading secondary schools.

Post-Independence Expansion

Significant campus development in the decades following Ghanaian independence — new academic blocks, additional dormitories, and the formalisation of the school's sports grounds and assembly spaces to meet a growing student body.
