The Gift That Kept Me in School
I almost had to drop out in SHS 2. My mother had lost her job and there was simply no money for fees. Then the school's bursary committee came through — funded by people I had never met who believed in students like me. That gift didn't just keep me in school. It kept my dream alive. I am now in my first year at UG studying Medicine, and I owe it in part to those unnamed donors who decided a stranger's future was worth investing in.
